Home Sweet Home!

We were fortunate enough to spend Easter with our families and be able to meet the new bundles of joy in the Wetzell family!! We had so much fun and the time went much too fast. Here are some pictures of our wonderful weekend home!

Macie with her mouth full of jelly beans! :)

Ben and I were very "smart" packers on this trip, knowing we would be coming home with more loot than we went with! We got to bring back lots of baby things from my sisters and some way too nice bday gifts! It was so much fun searching through things knowing our little sweetie would be using them soon! My mom found a beautiful old blanket of mine that I can't wait to use. Once we start organizing things we will put pictures up, but that won't be for awhile yet!

It was hard to say goodbye to everyone but we are already looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer! We love you and miss you all!

"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:6-11

A Few Homemade Things!

I have always enjoyed making things at home but lately I have loved searching out new things to learn and make. Ben doesn't seem to mind either. Although I think I am always much more impressed with myself than he is with me! :)

So here are a few things I have been experimenting with...

Unbelievably YUMMY granola bars. Ben would definitely agree with this one. He said it is the best treat he has ever had and that may be one of the best compliments I have ever gotten from him, because he has enjoyed a lot of amazing homemade treats in his life!!! As you can see they are all gone already!

My first loaf of 100% whole wheat bread, totally from scratch! So amazing right out of the oven! Can you tell I was proud of this one!

Spinach pasta noodles-we haven't tried these yet, hoping for great results!

But the best homemade thing to share with you is something Ben and I made together! ;) P.S. Push the play button...MOM!! :)

Yep, that is our little sweetie at 20 weeks, sucking it's thumb! What a blessing and I still can't get over how crazy technology is!

We are excited to head home this week to see family and celebrate Easter! Have a wonderful Easter everyone! We love you all!
P.S. Jenny, I will put up all the recipes sooner than later! :)

"He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." Luke 24:46-47

20 weeks

I know I have been absent from the blogging world lately. Sorry, I guess our life just hasn't been too exciting! But I have had a few requests...ahummmm, Lucas ladies:), to put up a new picture so here you go!

We are SO excited for our "big" appt. on Friday! We are anxious to see the baby again. It is moving like crazy, Ben has loved feeling it too! So we are excited to actually see it moving!

Hope you all are doing well. We are doing great, but we are ready for springtime to actually arrive here. We love you and miss you all!
